Privacy Policy

1. What whattAI does not collect

• No account system. The Site does not require registration or login.
• No first party tracking cookies set by whattAI for marketing.
• No persistent storage of cost calculator inputs, Stack Builder answers, or search queries on whattAI servers. These run in the browser.

2. Analytics

The Site uses the following analytics providers to measure aggregate usage:

• Google Analytics 4. Collects pageviews, referrers, approximate location, device, and event data via cookies. Google may use this data per its privacy policy.
• Vercel Analytics. Aggregated traffic and performance metrics. See Vercel privacy policy.
• Plausible (optional). If enabled, Plausible is a cookieless analytics provider that does not use personal data or cross site identifiers. See Plausible privacy.

3. Advertising

The Site displays advertising via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this Site and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

4. Affiliate and outbound links

Outbound vendor links pass through a redirect at /go/<slug>. The redirect records aggregate, non personal click counts on whattAI servers and forwards you to the vendor with attribution parameters (for example utm_source=whattai). The destination vendor's privacy policy applies after the redirect. See the full affiliate disclosure.

5. Third party data sources

To power model pricing pages, whattAI fetches data from the OpenRouter API and other public sources. These fetches are made by the Site's backend on a schedule and do not transmit your personal information. Tool, model, and agent registry data is stored in MongoDB Atlas under whattAI's control.

6. Email correspondence

When you email hello@whattai.com, your message and email address are retained for the purpose of responding and for keeping a record of corrections, partnerships, and listing changes. Email content is not used for marketing.

7. Your choices

• Use browser controls to block or clear cookies, or browse in private mode.
• Install a tracker blocker. The Site is designed to work without analytics scripts.
• Opt out of personalized ads via the Google and aboutads links above.
• Email hello@whattai.com to request deletion of any prior email correspondence on file.

8. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for users aged 13 and older. whattAI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

Material changes will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
