whattAI is a resource for solo creators, freelancers, and small business owners who want to work smarter with AI tools, without wading through hype, vendor copy, or articles written by someone who never opened the product.
Who writes this
We are the whattAI Team. We curate, evaluate, and detail the best workflows to help you make informed decisions. Our goal is to give you an honest opinion, including the limitations and edge cases that most reviews gloss over. If a tool doesn't fit our standards or workflow, we'll say so.
What's covered
Three content types, nothing else:
- Tool comparisons, e.g. Jasper vs Writesonic for freelance copywriting
- Best-of listicles, e.g. 7 best AI tools for freelancers in 2026
- How-to guides, e.g. How to automate client invoices with AI in 10 minutes
We deliberately do not cover general AI news, model releases, or commentary. That content ages fast, has no natural affiliate angle, and competes directly with major tech outlets, not a fight worth having.
How this site makes money
Some articles contain affiliate links. If you sign up for a tool through one of our links, we may earn a recurring commission, at no extra cost to you. The tools we cover are ones we would recommend regardless, but you should know the incentive exists.
The site also runs Google AdSense display ads. Affiliate commissions don't influence our ratings, but ads help cover the hosting and domain costs.
